How to get to us:
Circular Quay
Circular Quay is approximately a 10 minute walk from atyp: Walk up George Street (toward the Harbour Bridge). When you reach the Harbourview Hotel at the intersection of George and Lower Fort Streets, cross at the pedestrian crossing and walk down the stairs to ‘The Wharf.’ (Alternatively buses will take you to within 5 minutes of atyp-see below). From Wynyard station: On the George Street side, catch the 431 or 433 bus to the top of George Street (Dawes Point, George Street near Lower Fort Street.) When you reach the Harbourview Hotel at the intersection of George and Lower Fort Streets, cross at the pedestrian crossing and walk down the stairs to ‘The Wharf.’ More info
Buses: 431 or 433
Catch the 431 or 433 bus to the top of George Street (Dawes Point, George Street near Lower Fort Street.) When you reach the Harbourview Hotel, cross at the pedestrian crossing and walk down the stairs to ‘The Wharf.’
There is currently a trial of the 433 bus coming down to a terminus adjacent to Pier 2/3 Hickson Road on week nights. The service will operate in the evenings with the first trip on weekdays from Walsh Bay commencing from 6:11 pm and the last at 11:41pm. new extended 433 service into Walsh Bay will commence on the week commencing 20th December 2010.
NEW Bus: 998
This bus goes from outside atyp on Hickson Road. The 998 goes to Town Hall Station via Wynyard station every 30 minutes between 9pm and 4.30am every Friday and Saturday night. More info
PUBLIC TRANSPORT INFORMATION
Please be aware that there is metered street parking on Hickson Road and surrounding streets, however parking is limited. There is also a parking station at Towns Place on Hickson Road. Towns Place parking info
Bicycling in to atyp is a great option. Bicycle racks are available in Pottinger Park East, above Hickson Road on Pottinger Street. Bicycle maps and information
A taxi rank is located directly outside Pier 4/5 Hickson Road, Walsh Bay.
There is wheelchair ramp access at atyp.
