We have a huge range of activities running next year, from our home in Sydney and across Australia.
One of the most exciting things about working with young people is that you never know what extraordinary talent will walk through the door. There are few other companies in Australia that can boast discovering as much ‘talent’ as atyp. Having said that there is one key element to enable this to happen. The door has to be open.Next year you’ll find our door open almost every day of the year. From workshops in the afternoons and Saturdays, to rehearsals in the evenings and Sundays, to performances most nights. There will always be something to spark your interest.
Our year begins with a bang from the 4th of January with a huge holiday workshop program that runs over three weeks. It would make a great Christmas present if you’re looking for something a little different.
From all of us at Australian Theatre for Young People we wish you a very merry Christmas. May 2010 be filled with good health, happiness and fabulous theatre.
Very best wishes
Fraser Corfield, Artistic Director
