atyp inspires young people to make great theatre.

atyp is Australia’s leading youth theatre company. For over 40 years atyp has been a not-for-profit organisation, inspiring and nurturing imagination, confidence and creativity in young people across the country.

Your donation can help make a difference and enable atyp to:

  • Keep workshop costs affordable

Our commitment to accessibility and diversity means we keep the fees down and the teaching quality high. Reasonable costs and scholarship programs ensure that attending atyp is not out of any young person’s reach.

  • Reach out to young people Australia-wide

We initiate and run projects in remote and regional communities across Australia, bring young people to regional centres to experience an atyp project and take our expert tutors to tour and teach in remote communities.

  • Provide exceptional performance opportunities
Our production work focuses on creating unique performances that tell the stories of young Australians to a wide audience, regionally, nationally and internationally.

The atyp Deductible Gift Account is a fund listed on the Register of Cultural Organisations and has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status. All donations of $2 and over are tax deductible.
