atyp, Australia’s premiere theatre for young people, is calling for volunteers to contribute to the ongoing production of atyp’s 2010 theatre season. Opportunities are available in all aspects of theatre production from Stage Management and Technical Direction to Marketing and Administration.

Production Assistant duties could include:


• show call operations, including operating lights, sound and AV
• set installation and rigging lighting, sound and theatrical devices
• opening night co-ordination
• resourcing props and costumes
• set creation and scenic art
• attending rehearsals as an Assistant Stage Manager
• assistance with outreach programs, including schools visits, artist talks, workshop co-ordination
• website content development
• administrative tasks involved in the day to day running of atyp.
