The sun is shining at atyp! What a spectacularly splendid program we have on offer for you this Summer!
Whether you’re into outer space travel, Bollywood dancing, defeating evil villains, or you are just itching to perform, create characters and meet new friends- there is definitely something for everybody!
Down here at The Wharf we have Around the World week looking at international stories, characters and adventures, and Acting out Art week where the lines between art and drama are blurred – including a visit to the amazing Museum of Contemporary Art! Our Summer holiday workshop program will conclude with Australian Stories week in the lead up to Australia Day – this will be the perfect chance to take all your favourite characters and scenes out of Australian books and create your very own Aussie play!
We are very excited to be continuing our partnership with Thinkspace at the Powerhouse Museum this year, and we are thrilled to introduce an exciting new master class in collaboration with the 2012 Mardi Gras Festival. We have a new venue in Alexandria, and our master class participants will be creating cool performances and learning new skills at the Seymour Centre in Chippendale.
There will be something for everyone this January at atyp. So come along, have some fun with us and make it a Summer to remember!
