Weekly workshops for years 5-6 are designed to develop acting skills, learn about different theatre styles, start looking at script work and above all have a good time doing it! Workshops in the first term will take participants through a number of genres whilst they will spend the second term devising a short performance to be staged in atyp's studio one at the end of the semester. It'll be interesting and at times challenging, but above all an excellent opportunity to make new friends and gain new theatre experiences
Our weekly workshops are back by popular demand! In meetings with members of all ages there has been one message sent loud and clear. Some people don’t want the pressure of a major production. They just want to have a space to learn new skills, meet new people, and put their own ideas on stage. This is a drama program with a focus on fun. Come and join us in The Ensembles. The Ensembles are workshops that create small performances each six months ending in a one-day only, don’t miss out, hold onto your hat, mini-performance festival in atyp’s Studio 1, The Wharf. You’ll work with a leading professional artist to learn new skills, build confidence and feed your imagination.
