Both of our stories started right here at atyp when we were teenagers. We spent our holidays and spare time at atyp enjoying workshops and productions. That is why we have chosen to be the Patron and the Ambassador of this company; we believe in what atyp does for young people.

I value my continuing involvement with this company as it helps young people to connect with the performing arts. atyp encourages young people to use their imaginations, nurtures their creativity, develops not only their acting skills but also their people skills and builds their confidence.
Becoming atyp’s Patron enables me to give something back to the company that gave me such encouragement and support as an aspiring young actor.
Internationally acclaimed Australian director Baz Luhrmann, revealed that his first foray into theatre began with atyp. Having attended atyp since he was a teenager, Luhrmann says he gained confidence as a performer, built a solid foundation in the creative arts and met fellow actors such as Nicole Kidman (atyp Patron). |
