    atyp’s Under the Wharf program gives emerging professionals a platform to connect, discuss and learn through doing.

    The 2013 Under the Wharf season presents three outstanding new productions selected by a panel of young artists. The season provides companies the opportunity to present their work in one of the country’s most celebrated cultural precincts at minimal expense. For atyp’s audiences it is a chance to see outstanding new productions tailor-made for young adults.

    Under the Wharf General Auditions

    We will be holding general auditions for actors aged between 18–26 on the weekend of 16–17 February 2013. Email atyp@atyp.com.au to be included on the Under the Wharf audition database.

    Under the Wharf and Critical Stages – Industry Forums

    Critical Stages nurtures and supports independent theatre artists, brokering a dialogue between artist and company, producer and presenter, to create opportunities for the presentation of work and the exchange of ideas and resources. For these reasons atyp are proud to partner with them to present 5 free industry forums at The Wharf throughout 2013.

    Monday 3 June @ 6pmI want to take my show on the road: Finding a ‘second life’ for your production. Exploring touring options regionally, nationally and internationally.

    Monday 2 September @ 6pmSelling your show: An in-depth look at the art of the pitch, this is a crucial guide to marketing and publicity; and

    Monday 11 November @ 6pmPlanning your pre-production: A comprehensive
    look at your production timeline, from programming to opening night.
