ATYP Workshop

FAQS

What should the participant wear?

Casual comfortable clothing, which allows movement.

What should the participant bring?

A drink and a packed lunch. Please note that atyp now has a NO nut policy.
In the warmer months a hat and sunscreen.

Is before and after workshop care offered?

Yes- but only at workshops at the wharf location. In response to parent feedback, we are now offering before and after workshop care at the wharf.  Care begins at 8:30am and finishes at 5pm (Fridays – 4pm) and there is a fee of $15 for the morning and/ or $15 for the afternoon in cash per child on the day payable to the tutor. Parents will be required to sign their child/children in and out at atyp’s Studio 2 space. All students are required to bring a quiet activity with them. Unfortunately it is not possible to offer before and after care at any of our other venues at this point due to staffing restrictions. We will not be able to transport students to any other venues.

Are there briefing sessions at the start of the workshops?

Yes, where possible, we run briefing sessions for parents of participants under 18 yrs old at the workshop location on the first day of the workshop.

Are there end of the week performances?

Yes, unless otherwise notified, all primary aged workshops have a Friday afternoon performance at 2.30pm, with high school aged workshop performances at 3.30pm.
